MALACHI’S BIO: Hey Teenpact! I'm so excited to be running with my sister and best friend Joy! I'm the oldest of 5 in my family. As a military family we have had the opportunity to travel often which has led us on some amazing trips. We have lived in Northern Nevada our entire lives. During my free time I enjoy riding dirt bikes, playing guitar, and going boating on lake tahoe in the summer with my family. I have been in Teenpact since 2018 and truly have enjoyed participating in the program in various ways. I'm so excited to meet many of you and participate in the national convention this year, see you there!
MALACHI’S VISION STATEMENT: Joy and I wanted to run to follow what God had been teaching us in our own walks with Him. To place the fears of the world aside in pursuit of Him. Fear is a gripping emotion that can take control quickly, Joy and I want to run to not only talk about the process of surrender, but truly to act through it ourselves. Running has forced us to give many of our fears to the Lord, but this is what needs to happen, we need to surrender these things to Him. When Peter walked on the water he had to let go of the fears of death and the storm. When he took his eyes off God he sank. Our goal in running is to learn alongside you all to give our fears to God, become tools for His purpose, and encourage you to that end.
JOY’S BIO: Hey everyone! Let me say just how thrilled I am to be running for Vice alongside Malachi; my friend, hero and brother! As many of you may be able to tell Malachi and I are running together, and we are very family oriented! So here is a little about me and our family! There are 7 of us total, we started our first year in TeenPact in 2018, in our RV. We have traveled to almost all 50 states. We are a military family and consider Alabama a second home! Here are a few random things that make me smile, bright colors, rain & sunny days, playing cards & dental floss! Looking forward to seeing you all, and meeting others of you in just a few weeks!
JOY’S VISION STATEMENT: What’s the why behind the message? Why the executive order, or even the why behind running? Behind it all, begins with two people, just like you, two TeenPacters, two followers of Christ, two siblings. My heart for this campaign would be to encourage everyone in their leadership, as others have previously done for me. The vision for our executive order is to help elected officials further embrace their leadership as TeenPact expands. The heart behind our message is for Malachi and I to overcome the fear of running to love others & prayerfully inspire others to do the same. The reason behind me running is to show you all, it doesn't matter who you are, YOU HAVE LEADERSHIP. Leadership that you can use to run, glorify Christ, and change lives to change the world. I exhort you, just as I'm trying to do with Christ's strength, fear less and love more.
