Anna Catherine Hammett
Hi! My name is AnnaCatherine Hammett and I am honored to be running for Senate in the Vision party! I hail from the great state of Florida, residing in DeSantisland (AKA Tallahassee). I am heading into my senior year of high school and 6th year of TeenPact. I love debate, theater, music, and any culinary arts that don’t involve the vile substance that is mayonnaise. The message I’d like to share with the body of TeenPact is one revolving around the question of identity. All day we can repeat and believe lies staked in our brain by the devil, forgetting to replace them with all the titles God has placed on us since accepting us as His children. A lost child turned found, insufficiency transformed into enough, hated turned to loved. Our identity as Christians should be staked foundationally on the fact that we are more than just God’s creations; we are His children. I cannot wait to meet everybody at NatCon and am so excited to discuss my message more with all of y’all there! Vision Statement:
Individual liberty is a necessary component to live the American dream and that is what the Vision party champions. America should be run in autonomy, not relying on other countries, and prioritizing less government control compared to the Federal power that currently oversteps its checks and balances daily. In the area of foreign aid this looks like actually enforcing the “America First” policy. While this diminishes the help sent overseas, it allows the individual problems in America to be addressed, and ensures our nation is running efficiently before healing others. Vision also stands for legal immigration, recognizing the benefit of new citizens and the freedom to pursue liberty, without burdening or slighting taxpayers. Lastly, in order to combat climate change, Vision promotes private industries, and self sufficiency that will support the free market and minimize waste. As a Vision candidate, I am here to help protect your individual liberties!
