Duncan/May

Duncan/May Ticket Urges Strong, yet Limited Government for American Well-being.

In light of the profound impact of Federal Government decisions on citizens' lives, the Duncan/May ticket emphasizes prioritizing American well-being in key policy areas: foreign policy, immigration, and climate change.

Foreign Policy: The Duncan/May ticket critiques the excessive spending on foreign obligations and activities, echoing George Washington's caution against entangling alliances. In the fiscal year 2022, the U.S. spent $70 billion on foreign obligations and $17 thousand on foreign activities. The US's unprecedented generosity in foreign aid, notably to nations like Israel and Ukraine, is juxtaposed against a soaring national debt. The incessantly accumulating debt stood at $34,616,994,016,250.88 as of April 2024. The ticket pledges to cut back on foreign aid, address the national debt, and foster impartial international relationships.

Immigration Policy: While legal immigration is acknowledged, the ticket raises concerns about its current scale, citing a sharp increase under the Biden administration. They argue that uncontrolled immigration strains societal and economic resources, jeopardizing American identity and values. Between 2021 and 2022, the growth in the number of immigrants in the United States accounted for 65% of the total U.S. population increase. The overwhelming mass immigration is quickly causing American culture to evaporate. The ticket proposes a balanced approach, advocating for reduced immigration to preserve American culture and ensure the well-being of current citizens.

Climate Change: Preserving resources through governmental intervention is essential for ensuring sustainability and long-term well-being. By consolidating efforts at the governmental level, we can implement comprehensive policies to protect our environment, manage natural resources efficiently, and mitigate the impacts of overconsumption and waste. With a natural resource value of $45 trillion, the U.S. ranks second globally, led by resources like coal, timber, natural gas, gold, and copper. However, unlike many nations where resources are government-owned, the U.S. often sees private ownership. Doubts arise about private corporations prioritizing resource preservation over profit. The Duncan/May ticket advocates for governmental oversight which will facilitate the development and enforcement of regulations that promote responsible resource management practices across industries.
